"to" here is not a preposition!!!!! After the verb "love"...., "help"..... After the verb "to love"....., "to help"..... You must use quotation marks and commas correctly!

Hi. No, it is always 'to'. Except in cases where no preposition at all is used - see Modal Auxiliary Verbs.

Eliot is right. 'To' in this example is part of the infinitive. All verbs have a full infinitive form - to help, to read, to speak, to know etc. They also have the 'bare infinitive' help, read, speak, know etc as in his example above.
