An oxymoron is a combination of two terms or words that are contradictory to each other. The two words mean opposite things, such as:
ADULT CHILDREN
ADVANCED BASIC
ADVANCED BEGINNER
AFRICAN AMERICAN
AGGRESSIVE DEFENSE
AGREE TO DISAGREE
ALMOST ALWAYS
ALMOST EMPTY
ALMOST EXACTLY
If someone used two words like this, you could say, "well, that's an oxymoron for you!"

Examples:
-"Faith unfaithful" kept him "falsely true".
-Though she is just a teenager, people often call her "little old lady" because her thoughts, which are thoughtful and mature like adult is different from her friends.
-Jack Marshall had an end-stage cancer when he was 6 years, but he was always optimistic, lovely and brave to face with his circumstance. We all called him "little BIG man" or "little HERO".
We use the oxymoron in speech in which is apparently contradictory terms appears in conjunction.
Hope it help:)
