"forgot" vs "has forgotten"
I would like to know the difference in usage and definition between "forgot" and "has forgotten"
Example sentence:
She forgot her books yesterday.
She has forgotten her books yesterday.
She told me she forgot her laptop last week.
She told me she has forgotten her laptop last week.

She told me she has forgotten her laptop last week....WRONG
Just study the past and present perfect. You've been asking this same question a number of times now. Maybe a little bit of self study will solve the problem.

"She forgot her books yesterday." This sounds fine.
"She has forgotten her books yesterday." This is not correct. You could say "She has forgotten her books every day for the past week."
She told me she forgot her laptop last week. - This is fine.
She told me she has forgotten her laptop last week. - Not good. You could say "She told me she has forgotten her laptop every day for the past week."
