When somebody asks me address in english...I am not able to say it in proper way......

i.e say somebody suddenly comes to you and asks where is xyz building/bank? you know its few streets away..but from the current location how do I need to tell?

The address format in English goes like this:

street number - street name - suburb - city - state - country

Of course, if you're a couple of blocks away, you just need the number and name of the street. Pointing helps.
