雨気, 雨季, 雨季. (うき) Is 雨気 a common word? How can I use it? Is the pronunciation うき or あまけ? Is there essentially no difference between 雨季 and 雨季? Does anyone ever use 雨下 or 雨露 (うろ/あめつゆ)? These might be silly questions, for which I'm really sorry, but sometimes I like to explore different common words that use a particular kanji and the questions just appear.

We write it as 雨期 or 雨季 and read it as うき. It is normally used to refer to the rainy season in other countries/regions than Japan. Japanese rainy season is normally referred to as 梅雨[つゆ or ばいう].
