Wo liegt der Unterschied zwschen den zwei Woetern? Bedeutet statt/anstatt "instead of" und stattdessen "instead"?

Der Unterschied ist vor allem grammatisch.
statt = Präposition (meist mit Genitiv): Ich nehme statt Kaffee lieber Tee. Statt des Kaffees nehme ich lieber Tee.
stattdessen = Adverb: Ich habe stattdessen Tee genommen.
Bei "instead of" und "instead" gibt es denselben grammatischen Unterschied.

stattdessen = ganz im Gegenteil; instead of that 反而
anstatt = 前置词 instead of 而不是
