Both are acceptable. '살다'(live) , '머무르다'(stay) are exceptional case. *Generally ~에서 + dynamic verb dance, play, eat .... ~ 에 + static verb , a detination sit, lie down,be ,go but there are some exceptional cases. You have to remember them.
