What does 18번지 refer to? ..and is it regularly used as a slang?
I was told it is used in karaoke to refer to your favourite song to sing...

yes, it is a slang what we use this word generally and everybody understand.
but we also use just '18번'(more frequently) as a same meaning 'favorite song'
this song is my favorite song to sing. : 이노래가 내 18번이야.
