Essas formas verbais são flexões de um mesmo verbo (ir), no tempo presente do modo indicativo. ''VOU'' corresponde à conjugação desse verbo na 1ª pessoa do singular (EU) do tempo presente do modo indicativo. ''VAI'' corresponde à conjugação na 2ª pessoa e 3ª pessoa (VOCÊ OU ELE/ELA) no tempo presente do modo indicativo. Eu vou às compras. (I go to the shopping) Você vai às compras (You go to the shopping) Ele/Ela vai às compras. (He/She goes to the shopping)
