Can I use the verb 치다 for an object that hits something? I want to say, "The rock that 강민 threw hit me." Can I say it like this? "그 강민이 던진 돌은 나를 쳤네!" I mean, 강민 did not intend to hit me with the rock. He only threw it. The rock hit me. (By the way, this is not true. 강민 did not throw any rock. I did not get hit.)

I'd say "강민이 던진 돌에 내가 맞았다(=I got hit by the rock 강민 threw)", but literally it'd be "강민이 던진 돌이 나를 쳤다(or 맞혔다)"(sounds quite weird though) \^o^/

"돌이 나를 맞쳤네" sounds better than "돌은 나를 쳤네" because the rock was thrown by 강민(a person) and the rock itself is not a living object which has the intention to hit 강민
