Any websites for useful diplomatic phrases? What I mean by "diplomatic phrases" includes phrases that are commonly used to proceed a negotiation/discussion in a diplomatic manner Such as... "No offence", "at the risk of sounding boring/preachy etc", "in defense of someone", "don't get me wrong, it's just that...", "I know where you're coming from." and so forth. and how to say negative things with positive reinforcement or decline offers/suggestions nicely Such as... "I must not be making myself clear." instead of "You are misunderstanding what I said." "Your work was not up to their standard." instead of "You failed." Do you know any websites for those expressions?

I don't know any websites for the diplomatic phrases but for the second request a few are: "No, thank you" "I rather... [name suggestion here]" <--- If you have another idea. Instead of using you failed, you could say "Try harder and you you'll [pass this/get this/whatever the situation is] next time!' I hope these few phrases are helpful. Gomen demo they were the only ones I could think of at the time.
