Which one is the right word for "Sunday", 星期天 (Xīngqítiān) or 星期日 (Xīngqírì) ?

both are correct ,but 星期日 is more formal while 星期天 is more casual

Sunday is 星期日 (Xīngqírì)

You can use either one of them. Only that the latter one is more frequently used in written Chinese.
