What's the difference in meaning between "parere" e "sembrare"?
Please give me some example sentences, thank you!

Parere e sembrare sono quasi sinonimi.
Si usa spesso sembrare per sostituire quelle forme dell’indicativo presente (paio, pari, paiamo, paiono) e del congiuntivo nelle quali parere tende a esser sentito sempre più come voce letteraria. [Treccani]
Comunque ci sono alcuni significati arcaici o letterari di "parere" (ad esempio, apparire, mostrarsi, fare bella figura) che non possono essere espressi con "sembrare".
Attenzione a non far confusione col sostantivo "parere" che vuol dire opinione.

"Parere" si usa quasi solo alla terza persona ("pare", "paiono"), mentre "sembrare" si usa normalmente in tutte le persone ("sembro", "sembri", "sembra", ecc.).

It's almost the same. Sembrare is more modern.
Il cane sembra bello. ok
Il cane pare bello. è corretto, ma più formale
Parere is more used in Tuscany, for example.
Then, there are idiomatic expressions with parereand sembrare as pronominal verb
Faccio/fai come mi/ti pare (do whatever you want), but in this case Parere means Volere (infact, you can say as well: Faccio/fai come voglio/vuoi)
Mi sembra bello (It seems/looks nice to me).
As usual, it deends on the context :)
