Another way to say "you don't have to" is 你不用 You don't have to cook for me --> 你不用為我煮飯。 You don't have to if you don't want to --> 你不要的話,就不用了(就不用這麼做)。

in Chinese "don't" depends on the verb therefore there will not be one version for all "don't have" cases
