What's the meaning of "I'll take it up there now." This sentence from '' Downton Abbey"

Somebody is going to take something somewhere now. "Up" here isn't necessarily literal, it could mean upstairs, up the street, north on the map, up a hill, etc. Sometimes people just use it as a indefinite location.

A servant in Downtown Abbey would say "I'll take it up there now." meaning that he/she will take an object or some food to their master/mistress upstairs.
