Son estas oraciones corectas?
El río fluye a través de la ciudad.
El río se vuele mas grande en la estación de lluvias.
O debo escribir algo diferente?

Es mas correcto decir:
El rio atraviesa la ciudad.
El rio crece en la temporada de lluvias. (En español muy poco usamos la palabra "estación" para referirnos al tiempo)

Muy bien. Tambien puedes escribir "el río pasa en medio de la ciudad" o " hay lagartos en el río" o " ese río es peligroso" that river is dangerous.
