How is Seoul written in Hangul?
Very curious as to how it is written since the romanization seems to have an extra U for no reason.Thank you for your answers! But now I'm a little confused. People in America pornounce it as Soul. But if it is two blocks, it's two syllables, so is So-oohl the correct pronunciation?

U is there for a reason! " eo " is the romanization for " ㅓ " which is different from " o = ㅗ "! so the romanization for " ㅜ " would be " u "
