黑米粥- hei mi zhou.
Hey does anyone know where 黑米粥（Hei mi zhou) originated from and whereabouts in China it's most commonly eaten?
Any info on 黑米粥 would be greatly appreciated.
All i know is that it's yummy and i like it!! 0(o^-^o)0

I remember it is grown in the north of China, where is cold.

不知在中國的 "黑米粥" 是否以 "黑粳米" 做原料
但在台灣 所稱的 "黑糯米" 實際上更接近 紫色
故以 "紫米" 更為通行
通常是做為甜點之用
"紫米" 是 紫米粥的原料
黑粳米 缺乏黏性
黑糯米 具有黏性

As i know, we can buy it everywhere, but we are not usually eat it.
If you like 黑米粥 , you also can try 八宝粥 and 腊八粥

Nobody in China knows it's origin :(,, i think everyone has eaten it because it ain't special food,we Chinese just eat it as snacks
