Could someone please help me translate the following 2 verses into English? I understand a lot of the vocabulary but for some reason I just can't make sense of it!
На лужок примчали діти,
Наче бджілок рій,
І гайда збирати квіти
У траві густій.
Поспитав у сонця вітер:
- Спробуй зрозумій,
Де тут - діти, а де - квіти
У траві густій.
Обізвались огірочки,
Гарбузові сини й дочки:
- іще живі, ще здорові
Всі родичі гарбузові!

Children rushed to the meadow,
Like a swarm of bees,
and immediately started picking flowers
in the dense grass
The wind has asked the sun:
Try to guess
Where are children and where are flowers
in the dense grass.
The cucumbers responded,
Pumpkin's sons and daughters,
still alive and in good health
all of the pumpkin's relatives.
