"파김치가 되다"와 "녹초가 되다"의 차이는 무엇입니까?
둘 다 같은 의미를 가지고 있는 것 같이 보여요.어떤 차이가 있어요?어느 쪽이 더 포멀이에요?

"I'm all burnt out." I think both 파김치 and 녹초 share the same attributes that they are very feeble creatures(?), which is associated with a state of utmost tiredness. Honestly I can't even tell what 녹초 is exactly. (green grass?) And they are both fairly common expressions.

파김치가 되다 : 파는 평소에 빳빳하게 살아 있는게 특징인데 김치를 담가놓으면 양념이 잦아들면서 풀이 죽는 상태에 빗대어 나타낸 표현이예요.
녹초가 되다 : 녹초는 '초'가 녹는 것을 말해요. 초가 녹아 내린 것처럼 흐물흐물해지거나 보잘 것 없이 된 상태에 빗대어 나타낸 말이예요.
저는 두 가지 표현을 다 사용하고 있어요 :)
