Please don't do it. I don't know where you are from but in England, where I live, people spend ridiculous amounts of money and risk their health to make themselves darker. It's all relative. I'm sure you're beautiful as you are.

I would advise you to re-consider. I'm sure you have your reasons but keep in mind that the body is designed to produce the correct amount of melanin (the reason for differences in skin colors) to keep the skin safe from UV rays. Some of these skin whitening products have chemicals (like Hydroquinone) which block melanin production, so you're unnecessarily exposing yourself to UV radiation which can have really nasty long term effects. Also some products contain unsafe amounts of Hydroquinone or sometimes they have chemicals which have not been cleared as safe for long term use on human skin.

I have been "white" all my life, so it's no big deal to me, but there are many commercial skin preparations out there that people use. Google "skin lightening creams" or "skin bleaching creams" or just use lemon juice for lightening elbows, heels, etc.
