'There is some trouble' is better if you are talking about a technical or mechanical problem. 'Trouble' is usually uncountable. If you say 'troubles' it suggests personal difficulties in your life.

Both sound rather incorrect in English. I would say, "I'm having trouble with my car's engine." or "I'm having engine trouble."
