Tenho ouvido das duas maneiras, mas não sei se as duas são certas ou qual !

O certo é cantores para o plural e cantor para singular.

Cantores = Homens
Cantoras = Mulheres
E de forma geral, quando se refere a homens e mulheres juntos, o correto é CANTORES!
