En México a los se le conoce como 'tostones' a las monedas de 50 centavos (de peso mexicano, obviamente)

Hola! Hacía muchos años que no oía la palabra tostón para referirse a los picatostes. ¿Dónde la ha visto/oído?. Pensaba que era cosa de mi abuelo ;)
En general, en España, "tostón" indica que algo es muy aburrido... "Este libro es un tostón", "esta película es un tostón"...
