Could someone explain to me how to make French accents on an English macbook keyboard please, in particular the circumflex. Thanks :)

Maybe:
For circumflex: alt+e and after the letter
you do at the same time alt and e, you see nothing , you do the letter and you can see all

configure your keyboard. It's easy. Just add the french keyboard then you can type it.
