How do you describe a voice of a person when they just woke up or when they have a flu?
For example the person's voice is different because he spoke too much without a stop, or the person coughed too hard because of a flu and when they just woke up the person's voice is not good. How do you describe a voice of this kind?

I would say the person is "hoarse".

I would say they have a croaky voice, raspy voice, breathy voice, scratching voice, hoarse voice.
