Happy Birthday in Korean?
I know 생일 축하합니다 is the way it's said when you sing the birthday song, and i'm guessing it's a formal/polite way of saying it because of the 합니다 ending.
My question is, how would i say Happy Birthday to someone that's a close friend? And another question, 생일 and 축하합니다 are separated by a space, so are they two different words? what would they mean?
감사합니다!
