Aishiteru/aishite iru
I have seen aishiteru and aishite iru when learning and were told both mean 'love'. What's the difference? Thank you.

I use "Aishiteru".
"shiteiru（している）" will be used with "wo(を）".
"noun＋wo(を）＋shiteiru（している）"
For example,
Shigoto wo shiteiru.(仕事をしている）
Koi wo shiteiru.（恋をしている）
Seki wo shiteiru.（咳をしている）

aishiteru←aishite iru
分かってる←分かっている
wakatteru←wakatte iru
ている・・・formal
てる・・・casual/spoken
