por "hacer caso" he visto los dos tranducciones opuestos:
"ignore" y
"pay attention"
puede alguien explicar esto?

Hacer caso es obedecer.
-Hazme caso y hazlo.
En otros casos es poner atención.
-Hey, hazme caso!
Ahora que lo veo, suena extraño. Suena más lógico. Ponme atención u obedeceme.

A lo mejor has visto "hacer caso omiso" como "ignore", pero hay que poner "omiso".
