Help please I woke up on the floor half way across the room What does this mean? Does it mean outside of the room, or inside the room? I thought half way across meant far. Thank you in advance.

You're still in the room, and probably somewhere in the centre of the room. Or, halfway between the table/sofa/bed (the main piece of furniture) and the exit.
