hängen:
Das Bild hängt an der Wand. > The pciture is hanging on the wall.
abhängen ( separable verb ) to take sth. off: Ich hänge den Mantel vom Haken ab. > I take the coat off the hook.
aufhängen ( separable verb) to put on: Ich hänge den Mantel auf den Haken auf. > I hang the coat on the hook.
