Pourquoi " beaucoup d'argent " n'est pas "s" à la fin
beaucoup de + nom pruiel
mais pourquoi "beaucoup d'argent" n'est pas "s" à la fin?

C'est parce que le mot "argent" est indénombrable. On NE PEUT PAS dire "un argent, deux argent, trois argent etc." Donc on ne met pas de 's'.
D'autres exemples : beaucoup de lait, beaucoup de bruit etc.

Ce n'est pas une unité. C'est le même principe qu'en anglais tu ne dis pas "i have a lot of moneys"
