I think trolling is internet slang for annoying, bothering someone.

Here on italki it would mean spam-clicking the "Add Friend" button to random people that you've never talked to. -Or- Trolling your friend is like joking, saying something completely untrue or made up. If we were friends and I told you I was honestly dating Brad Pitt, I would be trolling you, hoping for a reaction.
