Talking about length of time - how do you say this: Hi! I always get confused when I try to tell somebody how long ago or for how long something happened. Just to get it straight once and for all (I'll learn these by heart), could someone translate these phrases for me (I've given examples in brackets for better understanding). Also, did I forget expressions that fit in here? Thanks in advance!! :-) - in two weeks (I'm going to Japan in 2 weeks) - two weeks ago (I saw the movie 2 weeks ago) - for two weeks (I've been sick for 2 weeks) - for two weeks (I'm staying in Japan for 2 weeks)
