제 vs 저 Hi, I know that in most cases "제" is the possessive form of "저" but I've seen it used as "I/me" many times and I was wondering what the difference is and when should I use 제 instead of 저 with the meaning "I/me"?

제 vs 저 - 저: polite "I", mainly used before certain particles like 저는, 저를, 저와, 저도, 저만, 저와, 저부터, 저만큼, 저로서, etc. - 자기: similar to English "one", an indefinite pronoun meaning "self". - 제: contraction of different forms involving 저 or 자기. ... (저 may not be used before 가) ... (both may be used) ... 제게 = 저에게 (to me, for me): 저에게 맡겨요 = 제게 맡겨요. ...
