Hi Pelin, Both are correct but they each have a little different meaning. "I got knocked unconscious" means you passed out because you were hit by accident - or - on purpose. "I was knocked unconscious" means you passed out because you were hit on purpose.

'I was knocked unconscious' is the correct way to say it. Yes it means literally 'I was knocked over the head and passed out.' Hope this helps.
