"intent" plus a clause with "be" word
Henry begins a series of letters to his brother with the intent that they be published if Charles deems them worthy and can find a newspaper that is interested.
I can't figure out why the setence above use "be" after "intent". Can you explain it?

And remember that 'u' is not a word. Nobody will ever take your writing seriously if you don't write the word 'you' properly.
