'A pari merito' significa 'con lo stesso punteggio', 'in parità' e si usa con riferimento a gare, competizioni, concorsi. 'Le due squadre hanno terminato il girone a pari merito', 'Sono arrivato secondo a pari merito con un altro concorrente'.
