Hello Oscar, "My name is Oscar" is the best way to introduce yourself, but you can also say "I'm Oscar" ps. My name is Helen!

You may hear "Hello, this is John", or "Hello, this is John speaking" on a phone call. However, you won't hear this in person. Any combination of "Hi" or "Hello", and "I'm <name>" or "I am <name>" or "My name is <name>" all work.
