UNREAL conditionals refer to situations that are untrue, impossible or hypothetical; conditional sentences of this type are often described as being contrary-to-fact e.g. If I were an eagle, I would fly.(This is just plain impossible) The fact that "Si pudiera" (If I could...), "Compraría..."
