I don't know exactly what this sentence mean. Please help me get it. Tea at a restaurant used to be a simple business: an anonymous bag hanging limply out of some lukewarm water, the ordering of which marked you as an invalid or New Age health nut. "an anonymous bag hanging limply out of some lukewarm water" I don't know exactly what this sentence mean. Please help me get it.

Its just a way of describing the sorry looking teabag floating in lukewarm water. Anonymous, because no one can see what brand it is from afar. Therefore, this sentence would mean:" Tea used to be a very simple affair. Back then, its just a teabag with a thread hanging out of warm water. No one knew or cared what the brand was. And only feeble people or the very health conscious would order it"
