How do you say “abandon a sinking ship” In Spanish?
In English the phrase “to go down with the ship” or “abandon a sinking ship” can be used to refer to any situation where things are failing catastrophically. Is there a Spanish equivalent?

Yes, the polite way should be "Abandonen el barco", the informal way should be "Sálvese quien pueda"

Hola !
There's an equivalent phrase in Spanish, indeed:
"Abandonar el barco cuando se está hundiendo", and the meaning it's the same that in English; when things go bad, you don't face the situation, instead you just abandon it.
Que tenga buen día.
Alex.

The equivalent in spanish can be "Mas Vale aqui corrio, que aqui murio"
