Sé usar 和. Pero no sé cuándo utilizar 而且.

而且en español como "además/ y"
por ejemplo, 她人很好，而且還很討人喜歡。 Ella es amable, además/y muy maja.

I wish I could answer your question en esspañol. 和 connects two equal weights parties, A and B, or B and A without much difference. 而且 to describe something one more step up, eg. 我这个学期的课程有数学，语文和外语； 现在的小孩子真累，不仅要上学，而且还要上补习班；
