They sell a subsciption to a premium service, but the basic Finnish to English dictionary they offer for free is quite comprehensive.

This is comprehensive Finnish dictionary in Finnish. Study this as soon as you have basic understanding of Finnish.

You can also take a look at www.glosbe.com. It offers a long list of sample sentences for each word. And it has a very convenient feature for beginners: It can display the full conjugation/declension tables for most (all?) verbs and nouns.
