I was able to understand everything easily. Your pronunciation is "clear enough." You have an obvious accent, but you do not have a "heavy accent."

A tip: at least here in the USA, we wouldn't normally say "to launder socks," but rather "to wash socks." We go do laundry...and wash socks and whatever else.

Also, the "thing" you opened is called a "water valve." You turned its "handle" so that the water would run.
