He/She don't
Hi everybody,
I've been seeing these type of sentences on a lot of songs lately. Sentences where don't is used instead of doesn't for the third person singular. For example: "She don't care"
Is this correct? Why is that so?
Thank you very much :)

It's not grammatically correct. Note the following:
1) It's not a good idea to use songs to learn grammar as:
2) Songs have no obligation to follow the normal rules of grammar. The only important thing is how they sound.
3) Syllables are of vital importance in song lyrics. 'Don't' is one syllable. 'Doesn't' is two.
4) Don't often fits the rhythm of the music better so songwriters use it.

Hi!
It's not technically correct grammatically, but it is common slang in America. You're right that it would be "doesn't" normally, but people understand if you use the slang "don't" in place of it, such as "She don't know". Although this is usually only used in third person, I can't say that I've heard someone say "me don't know", that would be strange.

Grammatically speaking, it is not correct. You usually see people who are "superior" or "more famous" speaking like this. They tend to say:
I be drinking
You be drinking
She be drinking
She don't care
He don't care
Me don't care
I ain't judging
When there is worse grammar like this, it makes sense, just not in a grammatical sense.

Not correct at all! Use doesn't :)
