却=可是
1、你想用“却”造句，却想不出句子。
2、你有一个问题，却总是想不出答案。
3、你提了一个问题，却没有人来回答。
前句是一个愿望，后句是一个转折，你可以用“却”字来转折。

This word expresses the meaning of turning, like the usage of "but" and "however" in English.
Example :我以为会下雨，却没有下
I thought it was going to rain, but it didn't .

Do you mean 卻 maybe? If so, it is used to describe contrast or you can think it as "but, however". For instance, 我想買飯吃口袋卻沒錢
