verb "expound" and "explain"
hi, what is the different between "expound" and "explain"?and when we use it?

They both mean to explain something...to make something/an idea more clear.
Most English speaking people do not use the word expound. We use the word explain. It is a commonly used word. For example: Can you explain to me what you are thinking?
