What's the difference between "sentire" and "ascoltare"

Sentire è un verbo che indica quando si prova una qualche sensazione fisica. Si può sentire con l'udito, ma anche con il resto del corpo. Invece ascoltare è un verbo che indica quando una persona presta la propria attenzione a qualche forma di comunicazione.

L'essere umano ha 5 sensi:
- la vista (occhi) = to see
(non ho trovato esempi, scusa 🙈)
- l'olfatto (naso) = to smell
"ha un buon odore questo profumo, senti!"
This parfume smells well, smell it
- il gusto (bocca) = to taste
(mangiando la pizza) sento il gusto della mozzarella (che brutta frase 😂)
I can feel the mozzarella taste
-l'udito (orecchie) = to hear
"cos'è stato? Hai sentito anche tu?"
What was that? Did you hear it too?"
- il tatto (mani= toccare) = to touch
"sentii le sue mani sulla mia pelle"
I felt his hands on my skin
Sentire è usato in generale, che usa i 5 sensi
"ascoltare" riguarda solo ed esclusivamente l'udito
- la ragazza ascolta la musica
the girl is listening music
- "mi stai ascoltando?"
Are you listening?
- "Ho ascoltato/sentito quello che vi dicevate"

Ich versuche die Unterschiede auf Deutsch zu klarstellen:
*ascoltare* = zuhören
*sentire* = fühlen
Aber auf Italienisch, gibt es keine feste Grenze und kann man *sentire* und *ascoltare* wie Synonyme für zühoren benutzen.
