Ideally 3 lessons of 1 hour per week and then homework in between. You should practice your target language every day, even if it is just 20 min, and maybe rest 1 day per week. That's how I managed to obtain a B2 in French in 6 months.

I'd say 2 to 3 lessons per week with some self-study in between. I am learning Italian now and I am only taking one lesson per week because of time but I also try to read the news and watch a TV show with subtitles or listen to the radio. Depending on your level, you could listen to some podcasts or audiobooks... even TV shows and songs just to be in contact with the language. Good luck!

I igree with Gon! i think that the ideal is to take at least 3 lessons of 1 hour per week if your goal is to achieve a new level on your spanish fluency, also i saw that your wife is mexican, it would be awsome for you to practice what you saw on your lessons with her and then havin a little time everyday to selfpractice. as we say, la práctica hace al maestro. saludos :)
